Be Flexible
For what ever reason, we do not always get what we want, job hunting is no different, it is therefore important to be flexible when considering opportunities. Some jobs can be viewed as a stepping stone into the sort of work or company you are aiming for. Consider short-term contracts, agency work or a period of unpaid work experience. Once you have secured a post within an organization you’ll have the opportunity to prove yourself and will be amongst the first to hear of any permanent vacancies.
Consider small, local companies as well as bigger employers in your occupational area. Small firms often don't have the budget for large advertising campaigns but may still need someone with your skills.
