If you’re a graduate starting out, the energy industry encompasses hundreds of organisations offering an incredibly diverse range of career opportunities for graduates in a variety of subjects. Engineering disciplines, the sciences, environmental subjects, business, law, sales and marketing represent just some of the subjects where graduates with at least a 2:1 are in high demand.

As well as the potential to command a high salary and work all over the world, the provision of energy and fuel is a critical business, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. For the people who work within energy, it is the dynamic, fast paced and challenging working environment which ultimately offers the greatest reward.

Whilst demand for energy continues to grow, humankind must also face up to tackling climate change, subsequently the energy industry faces a challenging and exciting future - one that will test its ingenuity and expertise to the full!
