Detailed Description
Interacts with management and division personnel to coordinate the generation, review and approval of potential property transactions.
Manages contract personnel and consultants as needed to complete evaluations and close transactions
Collaborates with negotiations team to support deal structure in negotiations.
Develops and delivers presentations to management
Monitors and tracks resource play activity, integrating the latest technical information into company analyses
Manages the procurement of technical data and coordinates with exploration and business unit personnel to ensure optimal use of technical data and resources
Partners with exploration and business unit personnel to assess and update play risk profile, potential resource recovery, and optimization options
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Geology, Geophysics or other related technical discipline. MBA a plus.
Ten years industry experience including project generation and economic analysis, planning and supervision.
Experience in M&A negotiations and/or support for negotiations preferred.
Knowledge of industry trends, performance and standard metrics
Experience evaluating reservoir characteristics and running acquisition economics.
Demonstrated ability to analyze extensive amounts of data and information quickly
