We are looking for a candidate to be responsible for the CAD design department which includes 10-25 design draughtspersons (staff & contractors). To be based mainly in the Birmingham office but with travel required to job sites and regional offices, principally in the UK but also abroad. Reporting directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager the successful candidate will be required to manage personnel & resources, time and cost, quality of CAD engineering & development of CAD standards, procedures and software, for both contracts and tenders. Must have experience in managing CAD teams/departments in an EPC Contractor environment. Must be familiar with General Arrangements, P&IDs & detail draughting in both 2D and 3D. Experience required in water, waste and /or energy sectors. Relevant engineering /CAD qualifications required to degree/HND level.
