Civil/ Structural Discipline Manager North East Permanent Salary up to £50k + 25 days holiday + 8 stats + pension + healthcare
My client carries out high-value consultancy, engineering and project management services for the oil and gas, mining, power generation, nuclear, process and water industries
They are looking for a Civil/Structural Discipline Manager who will be accountable to the Operations Manager and will ensure delivery of engineering design deliverables to safety, quality, cost and time parameters including the management of discipline engineers and interdisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Management of Civil Engineers Quality and safety of designs Adherence to and development of Procedures/Standards Support and development of resources Preparing Man hour estimates for work Maintaining Man hour &Schedule performance Managing & attending SHE Reviews Interdisciplinary design coordination Communicating information to teams Continual improvement in productivity
Knowledge / Experience
BSc/BEng (or equivalent) Chartered Engineer Substantial period of experience in the designated position + Oil and Gas/Petrochem experience
The candidate must ideally be from a permanent background.
