Our client is an independent, carbon neutral energy supply company operating in the B2B and B2C markets. Launched in 2007, they currently have in excess of 8000 residential and small to medium sized business customers and by providing smart meters to them all, manage to keeps bills accurate and bad debt to a minimum. Due to growth, they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dataflows Manager to assume control of the flows processes and procedures for both gas and electricity. The successful candidate will have responsibility for a newly developed dataflows function within the Commercial department. This will entail ensuring that automated and efficient business processes are implemented to deal with large scale issues, as well as ensuring that individual MPAN/MPR problems are resolved. The role will entail a close working relationship with other departments within the company, including the product development teams, to help implement new and enhance existing services. The role also includes considerable data quality work to ensure that top lines are correct and that untraded MPANs are setup correctly. You will liaise with Elexon and Xoserve regarding performance and process improvements. There will also be a requirement to work closely with third party agents (MOP,MAP,DC & DA) to ensure supplier hub processes are followed correctly and contract SLAs are met. The ideal candidate will have a background in the energy sector in a similar role and it is imperative that you have a good knowledge of the dataflows processes, particularly gas processes.
