Department
The Blade Technology Development team is responsible for feasibility and concept development work for future Blade designs. As a member of the team you will play an important role in shaping up the future direction of wind turbine technology.
 
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Lead development of new blades and blade technology
- Developing new design solutions for future products
- Preliminary structural design and process evaluation
- Analysis of potential critical failure modes
- Preparing design specifications
- Supervision of tests and analysis of test data to verify designs
- Detail component design and validation
 
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Minimum M. Sc mechanical /structural design within composites
- Engineering management experience advantage
- Well-rounded engineering knowledge
- Proven track record of creative approach and innovation
- Good understanding of structures and composites (basic FEA advantage)
- Excellent analytical skills, awareness of Root Cause Analysis/D-FMECA Techniques
- High standard of technical documentation
- Excellent communication and time management
