Haven Power is a rapidly growing electricity supply company working within the UK's SME market. As part of the Drax Power Group, Haven Power have been successfully operating since 2006 and offers smaller businesses a simple, accurate and cost effective electricity contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join this dynamic organisation and due to their current expansion, they are now looking for a Direct Sales Manager.
Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director, the Direct Sales Manager will lead two channels Face to Face Sales and Telesales. They will be directly responsible for 2 Area Managers and a Telesales Channel Manager, with total responsibility of close to 100 people.
They will ensure the delivery of a high team performance by improving the current sales processes where required and utilising the CRM system within telesales to its best performance to meet business targets. They will also continually support the two channels with bringing on key people as the business expands.
The Direct Sales Manager will split their time between working in the field with the Face to Face teams and the Telesales centre's at Chelmsford or Ipswich.
Candidates will have a proven track record of leading and managing a successful telesales & field based sales operation. Ideally you will have knowledge of the Utilities sector but direct experience is not essential. You will have excellent team management experience, the ability to drive forward business and process improvements and the aptitude to succeed within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
