DIRECTOR OF ENERGY-BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA- LEADING INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANCY
My client is a multi disciplinary consultancy who have offices in every continent, with than 2000 people operating globally out of their 50+ offices. They now seek a Director for Energy for the East Coast of Australia. This role will require you to have a wide-spread exposure to the business environment and work alongside our market leading clients within the Energy sector. You will report to the Regional Managing Director and will interface fully with the Energy Managing Director (based in Europe).
As the Director for Energy you will have single point responsibility for an individual Business Unit in terms of
financial performance,
service delivery,
resourcing,
quality control,
business development and client care. This is a particular area of interest to my client.
You will be responsible for developing relationships with senior client contacts, the CEO's of your relevant industry associations and directors of the professional institutions of your sector. The primary function however is the strategic leadership of your industry/business sector. You will continue to promote the interests of the organisation giving the full benefit of your knowledge, expertise and skills to all your business undertakings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account management including all fee and performance aspects
Delivery of key parts of the Australian Energy Business Plan
Developing products and areas of innovation
Building and managing a team
Contribution to the overall Global Energy Business
THE PERSON
Successful candidates will be based in the East Coast of Australia. You will have a proven track record in the Energy sector and in leadership, in an owner operator, prime contractor or consulting environment, and have an excellent understanding of industry best practice across the life cycle of projects in one or more of the following disciplines:
Project Controls
Cost Estimating
Cost Management and Engineering
Planning & Scheduling
Cost and Schedule Benchmarking
Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis
Project Processes and Procedures
Project Control Systems Software implementation and training
Contract Strategy Development
Contract Administration
Management Consulting
