A vacancy has arisen for an ecologist at their Cambridge office. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and be competent and experienced in carrying out extended phase 1 habitat and more specialist botanical surveys and those for a range of protected species.
Education/qualifications/experience/skills
An initial degree or equivalent in a relevant environmental subject
Good knowledge of ecological principles, wildlife conservation and practical habitat management
At least 2 years of experience of working as a practicing ecologist, preferably in a commercial environment
Good organisational and team working skills, including the ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel and in the use of email and the internet
