Our client is seeking to employ an Energy Manager to oversee all energy management issues across a large Estate Services department. Currently the client spends around £2million per annum on utilities and is looking for an Energy Manager to develop and manage it Energy strategy, promoting and delivering best practices across a range of energy management initiatives.
Candidates will need to come from a Building Services background and have a full understanding of the current issues the client faces in relation to energy targets and usage that have resulted from Low Carbon initiatives. Candidates will also be fully conversant with both BMS and Cylon Automatic Monitoring Systems.
In addition candidates will be able to run project specific work from inception to handover, developing design briefs, procurement of construction services, the delivery of projects and overseeing expenditure.
The successful candidate should possess full membership of CIBSE and hold a degree level qualification or equivalent in a building services subject and have post qualification experience in energy management or energy efficiency.
This position is a temporary to permanent position.
