This highly successful EPC Consultant is a truly dynamic company whose success has resulted from outstanding project delivery for customers globally. The company provides full turn key services to the Petrochemical, Power, Mining, Infrastructure sectors.
Due to the award of a large 525km multi-products liquid fuel Pipeline running from Durban to Gauteng and valued in excess of R12billion, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Process Engineering Manager to head up the division.
Preferably a Chartered Engineer and with a Chemical Engineering degree, suitable applicants will have 12 - 15 years + relevant experienced in South Africa, with 3 - 5 years at a Project Lead Process Engineer role.
Your key functional responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the management of the Process Engineering group functions for assigned project(s) across company Client Base.
- Provide supervisory and technical excellence and quality input to all Process Engineering personnel.
- Have single point accountability for the production of defined Process engineering deliverables, to the required project schedule and quality
Specific Activities and Deliverables :
- Reviewing changes in Process design codes and implement these changes in company standards and future designs.
- To provide complete Process Engineering resources in the areas of Layout, ensuring safety in design, technical integrity, compliance to schedule and to maximizes profit. Set the direction and vision for the section with the co-operation of other Engineering disciplines. To continuously monitor and improve working practices and culture to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Control Process Budgets.
- Produce Process CTR's .
Some of you key day to day duties will include:
- Responsible for coaching, teaching, mentoring and effective supervision of assigned personnel.
- Develops Process Engineering specific plans for project execution.
- Determines Project Process Engineering organization
- Responsible for annual staff appraisals
- Responsible for developing and implementing Process Engineering administrative and technical practices, specifications, and procedures.
Salaries pay up to R1.2m cost to company, plus the opportunity to work on one of South Africa's most prestigious EPC projects.
