The client`s UK operations presently require a Instrument Engineer to work on refinery based projects and contracts in Wales.
Duties:
Lead functional input to small projects, or carry out engineering tasks as part of a large project team.
Accountabilities:
Plan and prioritise own work to ensure that functional project requirements on scope, time and cost are met. Carry out engineering calculations, and check work of more junior engineers, to deliver a quality functional input to projects. Carry out commissioning activities at client site as required, to ensure successful engineering handover. Ensure that work complies with all necessary corporate, departmental and legislative requirements and procedures, to guarantee that the necessary consistency and quality of delivery is maintained. Specify and procure equipment to meet requirements Recognise and address potential and actual cross-discipline issues and conflicts so that overall engineering input to a project is coherent Develop own engineering experience and skills, moving towards the capability to move to a more senior role and towards professional qualification
Experience:
Instrumentation & Control Engineering Degree
Substantial relevant experience, typically at least 4 years of experience in relevant project design work, is required to fully perform the role; however less experienced individuals may be trained up within the role, under close supervision
Ability to work in a team environment
