CCL ([Link Removed]) has been requested by a major international oil and gas company to provide a Lead Asset Integrity Engineer to be based on site in Nigeria. This is a residential position. One year renewable contract. Internationally competitive Daily Rate. Good conditions.
Qualifications: BSc in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Welding, Corrosion, Civil, Chemical, or Process Engineering or Chemistry. Technical Diploma from a 2-year full-time program. API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector Certificate or National Board Inspector Certificate (depending on the Jurisdiction). First Class Power Engineers Certificate of Competency. Required within two years of starting position: 570 Piping Inspector Certificate; 653 Above Ground Storage Tank Inspector Certificate. Previous West African experience is an advantage. All nationalities considered but must have fluent English.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in fixed equipment integrity management. 15 years proven experience in a senior corrosion or integrity position. Responsible for the implementation of the OUP and the technical competency of the people involved with the program. Can assume any of the responsibilities of the Company Area Asset Integrity Engineer(s). Previous working experience in West Africa, international experience is a plus. Strong HES knowledge and commitment is mandatory.
