My clientdesigns, supplies and constructs advanced steam generation technology for the power industry. They develop some of the cleanest, most efficient coal-powered plant in the world and is a leading energy services company operating in the thermal power, nuclear, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
They looking for an experienced Lead EC&I Engineer to co-ordinate and drive a small team of EC&I engineers working on nuclear, process or steam raising plant projects in a multidisciplinary environment of some 30 engineering staff based in their Cumbria office.
You must be Degree qualified and prefferably chartered, although this is not a must.
You will need to have excellent all round knowledge & experience of electrical, control and instrumentation and be very delivery orientated.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of detailed specification, instrument data sheets, purchase requisitions and installation instructions. Participation in engineering reviews. Participation in risk identification/Hazard Analysis, HAZOP, FMEA, and SIL studies. Technical bid evaluations. Preparation of company standards and procedures. Supervision of discipline engineers and designers. Attendance at site meetings with clients
