CCL ([Link Removed]) has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Local Content Coordinator for a residential position based in the Paris area with missions to other locations worldwide. Contract duration 12 months (renewable). Attractive Daily Rate.
Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have an engineering degree or equivalent. Excellent communication skills; Flexible and responsive to changing priorities; Interpersonal Skills; Cultural awareness and diversity experience; Methodical and measured approach; Problem Skills. Good computer skills mandatory. Fluent in English. Portuguese would be a plus. UK or other EEA residents.
Experience: Minimum 10 years significant experience in engineering and construction projects. Assist Project Manager to enhance local content to a realistic level, compatible with local possibilities and capacities during Basic Engineering, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Integration, Installation, Hook-Up and Commissioning up to hand-over to the Start-Up Team. Assist Project Manager in assessing / monitoring local Suppliers / Contractors potential, applying contracting strategy, follow up / control of Contractors performance / progress, preparing reports, drafting presentations and / or communications. Minimum requirements set for Call for Tenders include Angolan content as an important parameter for bid evaluations. Innovative contracting strategy for FPSO will give opportunity for enhancement of local content, which will therefore become key criteria for the contractor selection. High level of local content, specifically Manifolds and SURF will be a real challenge.
