Renewable Energy development group with well established Offshore team is seeking a lead Engineer to manage all aspects of grid connections at pre-construction stages. This role would suit a recognized expert in power generation field with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and OFTO regulations. This is a key role which will seek to enhance our client's potential to respond to existing client requirements and ability to develop new business/service streams, particularly with network operators. The main focus of course will be project-based, providing technical leadership, management of design consultants and sub-contractors, arranging necessary environmental, planning and connection consents, and supporting engineering works during construction phase.
Applicatins are welcomed form Chartered Engineers (Electrical) who can offer proven experience of offshore wind / marine energy projects.
