Quality Manager
Based Yorkshire
Up to £40k basic + 25 days holiday (with 8 stats) + 5% matched pension scheme + yearly bonus scheme + annual salary review

My client designs, supplies and constructs advanced steam generation technology for the power industry. They develop some of the cleanest, most efficient coal-powered plant in the world and is a leading energy services company operating in the thermal power, nuclear, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.

This position provides an opportunity for a high calibre individual based in their Yorkshire office. This includes a proactive approach to the development and implementation of Quality strategies and plans that will assist in ensuring the ongoing success of the branch.

THE ROLE

It is essential that the successful candidate has significant experience in a senior Quality role and a proven track record working within the power, nuclear, petrochem and gas industry sectors. The role requires the ability to:

Lead with the Quality Manager Services (Branch) and supporting teams in the delivery and achievement of Branch business plan objectives.

Ensure effective and compliant Quality input to Proposals and Tenders.

Develop Quality implementation strategies that are consistent with company policies and branch business plan objectives in achieving customer expectation.

Facilitate monitoring, measurement and analysis of branch quality performance in pursuit of error free operations.

Develop improvement programmes that are effective in supporting branch delivery engender a positive quality culture that is consistent with delivering world class quality performance.
Ensure employees are adequately trained, competent and engaged in the process of continual improvement.

Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures and standards across the branch.

Created and provide innovative and effective solutions to our customers` requirements.

Promote effective leadership, clear communication, influencing skills and model team working within the branch and support functions.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate high level communication and leadership skills and be qualified to Degree in Quality Management level or equivalent.

Chartered Quality Professional status and full membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) would also be preferred.
