CCL ([Link Removed]) has been requested by a major EPC contractor to provide a high calibre Project Controls Specialist - Ammonia, to be based in Saudi Arabia. This is a residential position on one year (renewable) contract. 8/2 rotation. Will be required to travel as required by Client. Terms and conditions to be discussed and agreed.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have internationally recognised qualifications. Proven Project Control Manager skills covering Cost Control and Scheduling with an earlier career background as a Cost Control Engineer or Planning Engineer. Industry experience gained from international assignments on Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects. Working knowledge of Primavera for those with Planning background, plus good ability with Excel and PowerPoint. Presentation skills to address a senior level management audience. Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organisational and communication skills including fluent written and spoken English.
Experience: Primary function involves management and administration of the PDR (Project Definition Report) and FEED and associated activities, with the objective of defining the project requirements and delivering fit-for-tendering EPC Enquiry Packages that will result in installations within the cost and schedule targets set by Client. Responsible for all Cost, Scheduling, and Estimating activities. Development of Project Controls Execution Plan. Coordination of Site Project Controls Activities. Preparation of Integrated Overall Monthly Progress Report. Previous PMC experience, preferably in Middle / Far East.
