A major international developer of wind farm projects, our client is active in Europe and North America and is seeking to expand its Development Team by appointing a high calibre Project Development Manager reporting directly to the Head of Northern Ireland.
This is a critical hire and requires an experienced individual with demonstrable project management skills, with a proven ability to manage wind energy projects and meet competing deadlines and prioritise tasks. As a part of this role you will be required to identify sites and assess the project viability, lead negotiations with land owners and site providers, prepare development recommendations and project development strategy and initiate EIA related work. The successful candidate will have strong experience of developing wind energy projects, from site identification to gaining Planning Permission. You will have sound understanding of the technical aspects of wind project development including site design, site layout optimization, road haulage access, grid integration, noise issues and shadow flicker.
