A major engineering and construction company, a member of an American Group of companies working worldwide, has requested CCL ([Link Removed]) to provide a Safety Engineer to be based in Paris. Purpose: overview of Management of Safety Engineering / Process Safety risks opportunities for LPG project. Job holder is responsible for providing safety engineering support to the Head of Health and Safety Engineering in relation to all aspects of the project. Rate highly negotiable depending on skills and experience.
Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in a numerate and / or engineering discipline. Ability to work in a team and be self motivated, have good personal, diplomatic, supervisory, written and presentation skills. Fluent written and spoken English. It is essential that spoken and written French is up to technical standard.
Experience: Previous experience within Safety Engineering and HSE. Project experience on Detailed Design stages, good understanding of Process Safety Engineering and fire fighting specification techniques / technical issues involved. Purpose of position is to provide an overview of Management of Safety Engineering / Process Safety risks opportunities for LPG project. Responsible for providing safety engineering support to the Head of Health and Safety Engineering in relation to all aspects of the project.
