Working on behalf of a leading Offshore Engineering company, my client is rapidly expanding and is looking to bring on a Senior Project Engineer. The company provides services to the International Offshore Oil and Gas industry. Some of their core business activities include Drilling Templates, Tieback Engineering, Conductor Centalisers, Riser Analysis and Subsea Camera Systems. They also have a Special Projects division which provides cutting edge solutions to a range of drilling, rig or platform related issues.
The Role
The Senior Project Engineer will provide support to the company's ongoing and expanding Engineering and Sructural Upgrades workload. This position will involve a mixture of onshore project engineering work and some offshore construction work. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for supervising and leading offshore construction projects and will need to deliver the projects within time, quality and budget. They will prepare the project schedules, implement workpacks, construction procedures and technical reports. This will also involve preparing bids, quotations and tenders for potential projects.
The Candidate
Candidates will need to have a background in offshore construction and experience of structural and piping projects is essential. Specific experience of riser and pipeline projects would also be beneficial.
This role will involve travel within the UK and overseas when necessary.
