The Transmission & Distribution business is a key element of our clients Energy Unit and is at the forefront of the companies plans for expansion. The unit has numerous UK and international offices and the team is made up of international experts sourced from all over the globe. The office based project delivery function provides expertise in all aspects of substation design and works on stand alone assignments as well as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will undertake assignments covering the delivery of high voltage (up to 400kV) substations and the design/condition assessment of existing substations. Primary responsibility will be to interface with the client and lead multi disciplined teams to ensure the safe delivery of the project
Applicants will be degree/HND qualified in an electrical discipline and have relevant experience. Experience in an EHV substation environment, together with excellent communication skills are essential along with a full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel to different locations in the UK and possibly overseas.
